Safeguarding
I am now able to offer Level 3 Award in Safeguarding and protecting children, young people or vulnerable adults (RQF).
The course is externally certificated through NUCO Training Ltd.
A range of subjects are covered including:
- Safeguarding legislation and guidance
- Indictors of abuse or neglect
- Making judgements
- Communication
- Roles and responsibilities
- Sharing of information
- Dealing with and reporting of allegations and complaints
The importance of Safeguarding has grown over recent years with many well documented and very sad cases involving babies and children particularly, attending this course will give you the knowledge to implement or improve your own safeguarding policies and procedures.
It will help staff to understand the risks when working with children and vulnerable adults and to ensure they stay safe.
