Emergency response
This is a short course in a Basic Life Support.
The aim of the course is for candidates to safely and effectively deal with an unconscious casualty who is breathing and an unconscious casualty who is not breathing.
Duration
- This course is delivered over 3 hours
- Courses can be arranged to suit work rotas or on weekends by negotiation.

- Arrival at the scene
- Casualty assessment
- Top to Toe Survey
- Dealing casualty
- Resuscitation / CPR
- Recovery position
- Clean up and hygiene control
Assessment and Certification
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor after which all successful candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
Numbers
A maximum of 16 people can be accommodated on this course and there is no age barrier.
Venue
Courses can be arranged at your premises subject to a pre-course assessment of the facilities or at a local off site venue.
